As A Business Owner I Am Fortunate

This marks the second season for Julie’s Grills to Go. One of the questions I am often asked is how the idea to create a business that rents and delivers BBQ grills, pig cookers and smokers came about. I wish I could say it entailed years of studying market trends and analyzing the process of other successful start-up businesses, or that I had the secret to prize winning BBQ. But the truth is that it started in my own backyard several years ago as I contemplated purchasing yet another grill and the associated assembly charge, only to haul it home in hope that I would not regret my decision to purchase that grill when it came time to store it over the winter.  Add that to my desire to fire up my entrepreneurial spirit and you have the perfect mix of reasons I committed to creating Julie’s Grills to Go. This business is all about offering greater access to high quality charcoal grills where and when you need it, without the hassle of maintaining and cleaning. It’s the perfect solution for outdoor parties, events, or celebrations.  The desire for outdoor entertaining options has never been greater.  Our journey from start-up to now has not been a straight path forward and I continue to learn from my experiences. Nevertheless, what motivates me to make things happen in positive ways and to be open to new experiences is knowing that I took action to make this dream come to life, and how fortunate I am to have this opportunity.
